"When The Nights Are Cool" is a multi-narrative immersive documentary on the Venezuelan refugee crisis. The number of displaced Venezuelans is estimated at over 5 million. The exodus has surpassed the Syrian refugee crisis. It is the largest mass migration in modern history.

This series simplifies without diluting, piercing through to narrate this emergency with impact and emotion. Told through the perspective of four families as they navigate seemingly insurmountable difficulties, the crisis' many strands are depicted as daily hardships encountered by the groups throughout their journey, not intangible statistics.
